Since Disney owns Marvel now, I'm gonna pretend this counts: When watching the Avengers movie, my brother and I noticed that the SHIELD Helicarrier is full of women. That's in contrast with other movies and TV shows with military or pseudo-military setting where the population is almost entirely male, with maybe 1 or 2 named female officers
definitely in contrast, word.
