Feminist Disney, This might not contribute to the conversation about POC in stories set in Europe, but the 2011 stage production of Frankenstein had Victor Frankenstein played by a white man and Victor’s father played by a black man, and that had no effect on how good the play was, which was *very* good. My point is that if a stage production could handle having close family members being played by people of varying skin tones, Disney can handle POC in its fairy tales.
