there is a difference between tokenism and decent representation in movies.   And yeah, tokenism is despised and will still be despised, but tokenism being bad doesn’t mean excluding POC completely is good or “yearned for” at any point.  There are other options than “shitty” or “no” representation.

oh, I read them, they were just completely irrelevant I thought? Your point is that if moors are the POC representation they shouldn’t count/be included because they were doing bad stuff, or something?  Even though using that type of logic would exclude all white people from movies, ever?   Unless I mistook what you were implying.

The point, anyhow, wasn’t that POC should be included “because of” historical accuracy, the point is that historical accuracy makes for a shitty excuse for exclusion for all the reasons listed above.
